Trouble
Alan is getting into everything lately. Here are a coulpe of times I caught him and got a picture. He is so proud of himself. I can't be upset when he pulls these cute faces. It's always fun having a little one around. I can tell we are getting close to his first birthday!! We all love Alan.

Easter 2010
We had my sister Alaina and her family, my brother Gary and my Dad come for Dinner. I fixed a ham and some yummy whole wheat rolls I even milled the wheat for them. I made a key lime pie for desert. Alaina made deviled eggs and a mandarin orange jello salad. So sorry Mom had to miss this Easter dinner she recently had back surgery and could not travel well yet.
I really enjoyed conference and felt uplifted. It was like hearing all the things that are in my heart that I never can express in words. I guess that is why we listen to prophets and apostles because they are able to communicate what the spirit tells them.
My Running Partner
Now let me tell you a little bit about our Dog Reagan. Jared and I are always hesitant to have any pets. I always think it is just another mouth to feed and it costs money and they are messy and so on. (We have never had good luck with dogs either we had a few dogs in the past and they all died. Two dogs got euthanasied before we could claim them. One got ran over by a tractor while we were at Disneyland.) Anyway when Reagan was two years old Jared's brother Matthew and his wife Maren bought him and enjoyed him for a time then Reagan started getting out of their backyard and running around on a main road in front of their house. Fearing Reagan would get hit they gave her to Jared's Sister Rebbecca who lives further away from a main road. After a while Reagan started getting out and roaming their neighborhood. He became well known from what I hear and was always returned home. Well as soon as we moved out on the farm guess who showed up, Reagan. I guess it is our turn to have him. He has actually been a really good dog and has not caused us any trouble. We are now quite fond of him and hope he sticks around for years to come. (No worries Rebbecca we like Reagan despite my complaining.)

Christmas Break in Alpine
This was our 4th time staying at the lodge with Jared's Family. We had a reunion right after Christmas. It was the first time the family was all together since before Jared's parents went on their mission. It had been over three years!
Applesauce and apple butter!
