Easter 2010

We told Davey to smile and this is what he did. He is such a fun boy.
Alan had  fun playing with the plastic eggs. No candy for Alan. I already forgot what happened to his cheek. He is pulling himself up now and so he takes a tumble here and there.

Grant wanted a, you know,"cool hat" in his Easter basket. So here he is sporting his hat. I think he is a cutie.

We had to take this family photo in stages. I guess we don't know how to set a timer on a camera. I don't even know if our camera has one. I just remember growing up my Dad would always set the timer on his camera and then run to hop in the picture. It was always fun to watch him.

I don't have any girls around, if you noticed in my last post even our dog Reagan is a boy. So every once in a while I feel like dressing my boys up. Easter is definitely one of those times I feel like it. Especially this year because I found pink for the boys. This is the first time I have ever got to buy something pink. It is hard to see but under the coats are pink dress shirts and Grant has a pink stripe on his blue shirt. Fun for me. David loves his little outfit.

We had my sister Alaina and her family, my brother Gary and my Dad come for Dinner. I fixed a ham and some yummy whole wheat rolls I even milled the wheat for them. I made a key lime pie for desert. Alaina made deviled eggs and a mandarin orange jello salad. So sorry Mom had to miss this Easter dinner she recently had back surgery and could not travel well yet.
I really enjoyed conference and felt uplifted. It was like hearing all the things that are in my heart that I never can express in words. I guess that is why we listen to prophets and apostles because they are able to communicate what the spirit tells them.
