Road Trip 2012; 1st Stop Salt Lake City

When we realized that we would be in Salt Lake during the 24th of July (Pioneer Day), we decided we would make it a longer stop. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the parade and all the sights of Temple Square.
This is right outside our hotel. We could see all the preparations from our window it was neat.
This float was really cool it did actually look like it was flying.
The kids like this Madagascar float!

David, after spending the whole day in the car would not hold still for a picture.
Grant looks happy! Half of these pictures were taken with Grants ipod because we forgot the camera in the room. So not the best quality, but glad to have the pictures.
This photo was taken from on top of the Conference Center. That was a neat tour.

Anniversary Trip to Vegas

I can't believe it's been 13 years. Sometimes it seems longer, like I can't remember life without Jared and sometimes it feels like just yesterday that we got married. We are best friends and I love our life together.
We caught up with Jared's buddy Jacob and his wife Shawna. They live in Vegas and we had a blast visiting and touring some of the sights.

We went to a show called "Le Reve"  The Dream. I liked it, the acrobatics were amazing.
Jared rented a convertible so we went for a cruise to see the sights. Jacob and Shawna in the back.
Not a nice shot of me but Jared looks good.
This is the 4 of us after the show. We thought it was funny that we look like we are matching. The boys in blue polos and girls in animal print blouses. Not planned I promise!
Picture of the auditorium before the show.
And we had to spend some time at the outlets doing some shopping!

Fun details for the party.

Toy Story Party for Alan's 3rd Birthday!

We played  Bowling with a ToyStory bowling set, played with Mr. and Mrs. Potato heads, and another ToyStory game we had in our game closet.

My traditional shot of Alan with all his birthday loot. I think Alan is the cutest little 3 year old, he is so fun, I love him dearly.

Summer sleepover with Stanger kids!

This summer we had a trade worked out with some friends so we could have a weekend to celebrate our anniversaries. We took on 5 extra kids for a weekend.
Swimming was a highlight!! Amazing how much entertainment you can get out of a cheap pool!

We had corndogs, lemonade and carrots for our picnic outside. David and Remi smiling for the picture.
Playing with balls on the lawn.
 We picked peaches.
