An Allred Piano Recital
Grant and a few of his cousins performed at their recital. It was kinda a family affair I think there was only 2 performances that were not Allreds. Grant and Josh in the picture above.
Grant, Lizzie, Sara, and Josh Allred.
Grant's new piano teacher-his Aunt- Kami Allred. I am so glad she could be his teacher, it saves me a lot of driving!! We will miss his former teacher Amy Parnell.
Growing up!!
Grant earned his Bear in Cub scouts. Here we are at the pack meeting as they present it to him and I was presented with a pin. This reminds me I have a few patches to sew on his uniform!!
David's preschool Graduation.
The pledge.
Singing the "The days of the week".
Singing "Mr. Golden Sun".
There were not many options for preschool this year so I organized a trade with 3 other Moms. We each taught one Month a semester, so twice a year. It worked out nicely. I hosted a Graduation at my home. Here I am giving Lane his preschool diploma. I don't know why my photographer did not get a shot like this with our son in it???

Easter 2011
Yummy Treat!! Got the idea from a commercial. I used the Cadbury mini eggs instead of the robins eggs, I like them better and I thought they would look pretty too. I think this picture explains how to make them. We made them for FHE activity and Treat.
Every year the Easter Bunny hides our Easter baskets, and this year they were a little more challenging to find. We find our Baskets on Saturday that way Sunday is a little less hectic and a little more spiritual.
Grant found his!!
David spotted his too.
There it is up in the tree.
Fun Fun, Grant , Alan and David.
Preschool Field Trip To the Zoo
.
A few Pictures of David and his Preschool friends; Lane, James and Morgan. We had a great time at the Zoo! It did get a bit hot but the Zoo had a fun water area for the kids and it cooled everyone off.

2nd Place @ District Pinewood Derby
Because Grant won 1st place at the Pinewood Derby he was able to participate in the District Derby which is all 1st place winners. He got 2nd place and was qualified to participate in the Council Derby in Tucson. Some how we were not notified about when that took place and missed it. Darn we were looking forward to that so maybe next year? Grant's cousins Isaac, Owen, Avery and Ethan came to watch him and Aunt Rebecca. It was a fun day.

Valentines Day 2011
David smiling big after he ate his heart shaped sugar cookie! We had a fun party at Aunt Kami's house and brought home plenty of sugar cookies that we decorated. We also made this hat using a paper plate and some hearts(courtesy of Summer Allred) thanks for the cute craft.
Me and my honey letting the kids take a few shots of us.
I love this photo I think Alan looks so much like Jared and in this picture it really shows! Alan is the 1st of my boys to prefer Jared over me.
What is a girl to do when she has 4 valentine dates? I guess kiss them all goodnight! Love these boys!

1st Place!!!!!!!!!!
This year the Pinewood Derby was so fun. The leaders made the boys pit passes to wear around and some really nice awards for each of the boys. They also made some cute race car neckerchief slides. Thanks to them for all their hard work.
Grant took 1st and was a good sport about it. He did not boast or rub it in, I think he was in shock that he won! We would like to thank his Grandpa Giauque (my Dad) for helping Grant with his car.
Grant and the Cubmaster presenting him with his 1st place medal.
At the concession stand the boys had fun decorating race car cookies!
1st and 2nd place winners! Grant and his good friend Tanner!
The line up! His friend Jacob made one that looked like a school bus. I thought that one was cool.
