Gila Valley Temple Open House

So I know these pictures aren't the best but let me explain. It was so windy that day that we could barely get these pictures. They are not from the front, but the side closest to the church building that is next to the Temple. We ran out took pictures came back in. So apparently there is such a thing as windy day schedule. That is what Grant had at school earlier that day and the open house tours were modified because of the wind.
I love some of Grant's picture poses lately!
Aside from the wind it was a wonderful time. David loved the angel Moroni. When we watched the video before entering the Temple he was so excited and kept saying "the angel the angel". We had dinner at our favorite pizza restaurant R&R Pizza, with some cousins that also went to the open house. After dinner it was dark so we drove by the Temple so we could show the kids how beautiful it is all lit up, we wanted David to see the angel at night too. Grant liked the celestial room and enjoyed looking in the mirrors to see eternity.

I was an usher in the Temple one day during the open house. I was stationed in the baptistry. It was neat to be a part of that. I saw many people come, just during my shift from 9am to 1pm there was over 1000 visitors!

Trouble

Alan is getting into everything lately. Here are a coulpe of times I caught him and got a picture. He is so proud of himself. I can't be upset when he pulls these cute faces. It's always fun having a little one around. I can tell we are getting close to his first birthday!! We all love Alan.
